Dragonball Z

I decided I'm going to watch Dragonball Z again, from start to finish.  Back in the day, I never really watched it in order or anything.  I just caught it when I could.  I never realized how long the series is.  It's like 178 episodes, and 60gb.  My last laptop wouldn't even have been able to hold it all!  As I've been watching them I remembered my one big complaint about the show as a kid.  Nothing is ever resolved!  You get one big battle, and it goes on for like 5 episodes!  Anyway, I'm enjoying watching this show again.  Especially the fact that I can do it at my own speed.

  4. I used to watch this, but I found that it took for ever for anything to happen, 3 episodes for someone to power up, I mean damn, just fight.

  12. Well, they have to keep you hanging somehow. LOST was like that, but... I eventually "lost" serious interest when those long, drawn out, never-ending plots never went anywhere. Soap Operas are like that too... they're just playing on that model. Enjoy the eps anyway

How does it compare to Kai, though? Is it worth it to watch the original over the new shortening?

  24. Watching it at you own speed is vital, since many episodes are just fillers or very slow paced.

It wasn't my favorite show as a kid, but it just always seems to be on for me to catch enough of it.
